very nice. i think that pose should be more agressive. so divide and add more details. nice start.

I’m done with sculpting here, i wanna add textures (as in scales or wrinkles not a diffuse map) to the skin, but thats the max subd i can go, any further my pc would lag, how should i go about it?

That is incredible sculpting and detail.

How many polys is he right now? Are you using any custom brushes to get the rounded forms to look so smooth, and the cavity areas so sharp?

How did you manage the wings membranes?

he’s at 2827776 polys, i only used 2 brushes, the standard and clay tubes.
i did everything with standard brush until the end, when i use the clay tubes to smooth out and harden some edges.

wing membranes are just standard brush strokes.

The muscular systems and anatomy on this guy are fantastic. Did you need any reference books for the concept, or is everything just a straight shot, from brain to sketchpad to zBrush?
