Is it possible to view your zmovie on the
document window or enlarge the zmovie window… .
to enlarge it in zbrush i don’t think so this is big as it gets.
far as enlargeing it some were else yes you can in like a animation program or a html file by adding HEIGHT=“number” and WIDTH=“number”
best way for you to see how things work is save it as a txt ZSCRIPT that way you can see it in the main Window to be inlarged.
In a word … “no” you can’t. Zmovies were optimised to play in the zmovie window. You can export the frames out as bitmap files (bmp & psd) and resize them and turn them into an AVI in a 3rd-party app, but generally no-can-do with playback in the main window. The ZMovie is basically a clever little screen-graber that grabs your document window down to 116x116, so enlarging them in a third party app will make things rathy blocky.
What were you planning JohnVQ3?? Maybe ZScript could help you out? Have you watched the pre recorded scripts that came with ZBrush??
Upham
Hey upham and ez thanks for the info.
To answer uphams question, I really did not have anything in particular planned out I was just curiuos about it and was wondering if I could view them on zbrush on a larger screen which would be very cool to see them enlarged. Thanks again…
hey guys… how do i export Mimage in movie with Bmp format… it only has PSD format. It has Bmp format if i export single image but not multimage…
Any suggestion on other app that make avi movie or somthing like that with psd format sequences beside After Effect? most of app that i search doesn’t support psd image
Thanks
Thao
Is it me, or is zmovie the feature that never quite made it?
Thaole…am not positive but believe Gimp can read psd’s so would imagine you could convert them to bmps with that if ya have to…I am not positive either if it can do avi’s but give it a look. There is another one but the name eludes me at the moment…soon as I can remember the name of it I’ll post it here.
hi bill,
a zmovie for you…
thaole…
I just took a look…you can export single images or frames as bmps…just not multiple frames to anything other than psd. So that might be a pain in the arse option for ya…to export them all one at a time.
If it’s a tutorial you are wishing to save…save it as a native zmv file that zbrush users could use or just save a zscript. If it’s something else then one of the other afore mentioned options will have to be your choice I guess.
@aminuts… Thanks… yes… unfortunately i want a sequence and alots of images in that… so i can’t to through every single image to export them as bump… Also i want to make a movie… not as a tutorial…
unfotunately, at the moment, i don’t have after effect yet in order to make a movie out of psd images…
i guess for now i have to wait until i get after effect then…
I saw couple ppl in here did movie… wonder what did they use to make
 I don’t know the history of zbrush, but did zscript recording come later?
I don’t remember if Zmovies were in 1.55b or not…Frenchy could probably answer that one. I seem to recall thinking ohhhh cool when I saw that in the z2 menu when I first loaded it tho. So I would think zscripts came first.
