ZBrush Preferences

Hi.

When customizing the interface, I would like to preserve a ‘Double Size’ document, a specific BG color and ‘Preference’ settings. Is this a 2-step process? When I open ZBrush do I need to open a saved document configuration and then also open a ‘saved’ set of preferences? Or can all this be saved into a single file?

Thanks!

i’m not sure, of course the easiest way is to just make the document with the different preferences and reload zbrush and see if they’ve changed. right?
one thing you could try is to make a macro which would load your specific document(not sure if this is possible but worth a shot) and also changes your preferences by loading a config file(this does work). then you could make a default macro as well if you like, have both available and just hit them when you want your different doc/preferences.

you can overwrite the original document. I didn’t change mine, so I don’t remember which file it is, or where, but Zbrush loads a default document. You can alter that and it should load the new one everytime, just like brush settings.

if you do a search for it, someone said how to do it somewhere.

Look at the online docs, linked to in my signature. The interface customization section has exactly what you need.
