Hi to all. For augmenting the compatibility of wine, if you have access to windows xp, do the next:
Go to Windows>WinXSX and copy the complete folder to the same directory of wine (/home/user/.wine/drivec: (i think)/windows/).
Besides this, inside this folder you’ll find a file called “vcomp.dll”, copy (don’t cut) and paste it inside windows32 wine’s folder.
Finally, remember to configure wine emulating xp and try to launch zbrush with desktop effects at minimum.
After that, Zbrush should work as you never imagine… (Or well, at least, pretty well).
Ah!, one more thing. If you launch Zbrush without a wacom (or a tablet!?) plugged, you’ll receive an error, but you can work, BUT, if you change to other program, when back to Zbrush you’ll receive again the same error and then it will hang.
So, remember to have connected the peb tablet, ok?.
