Hi PusG
“20 000 lieues sous les Mers” Jules Verne :sunglasses:
:+1:
How do you make the suckers ? A ring 3D brush or it’s one of the 3 objects right ups side tut ?
Pilou

Thanks Pilou!
The suction cups were sculpted using a special shape in the Edit curve, found in the Transform Palette. The shape I used is just a slice/profile of the suction cup shape.
Have a good one!
Michael

Congratulations friend¡
Andreseloy

Thank you Mario!

Wow, that’s a wonderful piece. Thanks for sharing, and for the steps that went into making it

Hi Pusghetty
Good work, :+1:
One question: when you have did the octopussy, you sculpt in a rest position and then you move in another position, or all the time you sculpt in a new position…?
Thx
Bye
Leo

Thank you Reactor!

Leo,
Thanks, Yeah I sculpted it in a rested position and then made all the poses after the sculpting was done!

Best regards,
Michael

This is great! And it’s not a monster! What more can a guy ask for? I dunno!

Excellent work, and thanks for the screenshots of your WIPs.

Is the lighting effect in your picture a post effect, or is it from actual lighting? Either way though, it’s still great!

Wonderful image :+1: :+1: :+1:
Thank you for share workflow and stepbystep.

cameyo

Thank you Wchamlet,
I enhanced the lighting and did minor adjustments in Photoshop.
The very bottom image shows the image with just ZBrush and no postwork.

Cameyo,
Thank you for the great compliments!

Adios,
Michael

great pic, a little dark and muddy for my taste, maybe that’s what you wanted

Thanks KingSalami,
I appreciate the feedback. It is a little dark i’m sure. I created this image using an NEC SuperBright Diamondtron monitor and the colors really pop on it, but it looks much darker on an old CRT monitor than I intended. If you are not using an old CRT you may want to try and adjust your gamma settings. I use Photoshop to set my gamma.
Anyway,
Have a good one,
Michael

AWESOME!
