Windows task bar stays on top when Fullscreen?

Hello people,
I’ve been using Zbrush for quite a while now and I dont think this ever happened before.
When I launch Zbrush for the first time it starts up nice and full screen, but when I resize it to check another window and get back to it Windows 10 task bar stays on top blocking the bottom part of it.
This happened after the recent windows auto-update I believe. I searched but cant find a solution.
My taskbar is not locked or set to auto-hide. All other apps like chrome or ps resizes themselves to fit on top of the taskbar but not zbrush.

Any ideas or help Please?

PS: Apparently I also couldnt figure out how to attach an image to show what I mean, will keep trying but I hope my explanation will be enough if I cant

Photoshop actually has the same problem, if you cycle views with f.

In the meantime, you can have the taskbar auto-hide itself while working in Zbrush. It may not be ideal, but its a solution until the next software update.

Thanks for the reply Cryrid. I will make the taskbar hide and wait for Zbrush 5

Another workaround would be to set the ZBrush window size so it’s above the taskbar. You can change the window size within ZBrush like this:

  1. In the Document palette, turn off the Pro button and set the Width and Height to what you want - for example for a screen res of 2560 x 1440 you might use 2560 x 1400.
  2. Hold ALT and click Resize. This resizes the whole ZBrush window.
  3. Press SHIFT+CTRL+i to store the configuration.

If you use this method then ZBrush will always start at this size but don’t minimize the ZBrush window as restoring it again will make it full screen. Use ALT+TAB to switch between applications.

Thanks Marcus, I didnt know about the alt-resize
