Where is the "Draw Polymesh" button?

I’ve seen posts about the button not working - but in my case, it’s no where to be seen to start with. Every YouTube tutorial or post assumes it’s shown in the right pane with “rotate” “Zoom” etc. All I see there are things like “Dynamic Persp” “Floor” “L-Sym” but no such button as “Draw Polymesh” and no one has succeeded in explaining ways to summon that function through any of the menus show in the top menu bar (“Draw” “Dynamics” “Edit” “File” etc. )

I’m completely lost, as a beginner. Is there a universal way to access this feature, instead of betting on chance that it’s fortunately shown in a pane by default? Thanks

Hi @JTG

You probably mean the Draw Polyframe (PolyF) button and not Draw Polymesh? It’s in the Transform menu and on the right shelf directly under Rotate (default UI).

Hi @JTG ,

Zber2 has you covered here, but I’ll just add that the polyframe mode (Shift-F) requires a 3d mesh in Edit mode in order to become active, and polyframe display does not work with some Redshift materials.

If you’re using a custom UI, it is possible you have omitted the button from your UI, but it can be found in the Transform palette. If your ZBrush UI is larger than the display resolution can accommodate, it is also possible that the button is offscreen. You can reduce your Preferences> Interface> UI> Button size to fit more of the UI on screen, or you can hover over that vertical column of buttons until the cursor becomes a double sided up/down arrow, then hold Ctrl to drag scroll the buttons onscreen.

Hi - thanks for the solution. For whatever reason, my default isn’t set up like yours (nor what seems to be the case for the majority of people) as you can see in my screenshot.

At any rate, the short cut SHIFT F solved it so thanks a lot
