This kind of music relaxes me. Doom Metal.
Mostly music that no one else in the world listens to, i like, for that reason!
I love to listen to Marilyn Manson , Korn , Slipknot , Rammstein , Tool and a load of other stuff to long to list here.I hate country , classical and techno - I can not stand it.Oh and I also like Emenem - but does that make me a bad person?
hmmm…well I am stuck in the 80s and still listen to Devo…and despise country, rap, most everything on the radio these days…after working at a state prison for a year, anyone that wears baggy pants with their drawers showing does not get a chance at my music selections…btw…that is where the baggy pants thing started was in the prison system…grrrr…I found myself in love with all the music from the tv series Buffy the Vampire Slayer the Musical…just kind of grew on me…and now the mp3s keep me company…I like Enya’s Boadicea(probably misspelled) I like Orgy…hmmmm and movie themes and soundtracks…Empire Strikes Back, Outland, Superman the movie, all Star Trek Music, hmmmm Human League Dare album…Pet Shop Boys…and the song on Silence of the Lambs by Q Lazzarus"Goodbye Horses"…put any of that on and I will stay in a good mood 
and I cant leave out Adam Ant

aphex twin, slipknot, tool, wumpscutt, front line assembly, Queen, darkthrone, emperor, entombed, eucharist, future sound of london,hoccico, meshuggah, ministry, my dying bride, Death, DeathSS (lol), ohgr, skinny puppy, ved buens ende, mike oldfield, sweet, backstreet boys, and rachmaninov. I hate bach - much brilliance, but some are real crap.
adding day by day to this, very very condensed and by no means full, list of stuff I listen to. of course, I’ve listened to my share of blind guardian and manowar, but YE GODS, why are there such bands as Rhapsody??? please stop listening to them, maybe they’ll go away

i like to listen to semi hard rock,little country(not much) some 80s and 90s, other than that its GREED babe… their my favorite band in the world…
I listen what I like. It changes on the fly. But rock (all kinds slow to fast electronica, some classics and some songs from 60s, 70s, 80s
All country singers seem crying to me LOL but I like some…
And Ghost in The Shell soundtrack.

Creed, Billy Joel, No Doubt, Sheryl Crowe, The Black Crowes, New Age Acoustic guitar stuff, ZZTopp, Aerosmith, the Stones (pre 90s), David Bowie, Alice Cooper (EVERYTHING EVER RECORDED), Iggie Pop, The Gorillaz, Fat Boy Slim, Hootie and the BlowFish, Ella Fitzgerald, The soundtrack to Myst III Exile, The ORIGINAL Star Wars soundtrack (yes, damnit. I have the RECORD, the big black round thing…)

Country hasn’t been country since 1981. Whatever it is, it is unpleasant to my ears. 
On the heavier end - Vision of Disorder, Slipknot, In Flames, Iced Earth, King Diamond, Morbid Angel, Napalm Death, etc…
And the other extreme - Classical (mostly guitar), Vai, Satriani, etc…

Anything MIDI is good for me. I don’t know what it is, but the bad quality sound, lauphable attempts at music, they combine to form a rich desert.
I suppose it’s like art on computers… Why would you want art that gets pixelated if you look to closely, unlike high resolution RealWorld painting?

I listen too all kinds of music. My favorite all time band is Nine Inch Nails. Heres a list of other bands/groups I listen too: Nirvana, The Orb, Orbital, (some) Manson, Modest Mouse, Pink Floyd, Bile, Blonde Redhead, Shpongle, And One, Type O Negative, The Bouncing Souls, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Weezer, The Doors, The Dismemberment Plan, Gryn, Machine Head, Not Waving But Drowning, God Forbid…man, I guess this list could just keep going and going, so Im just gonna leave it at whats up there.

I can’t think of any genre I don’t like from Cajun to Rap through to classical,stopping for munchies at ambient,heading down slow to the blues,foot down for techno,laid back for reggae,loved up yet hurting for soul,head down for punk,alone with a only a bottle for company for country etc etc it’s all one big road journey.
I am what you might label musically promiscous.
I like all types of Music. Being from the Caribbean I tend to like the indigenous styles more, Calypso, Raggae, Socca, steelband. The mood I am in has a lot to do with my selection. I like high end equipment to play my music on.
I do however appreciate all MUSIC.

Interesting topic. I enjoy a little light punk rock (the unseen) some skacore (leftover crack) the song heroin or suicide is incredibly good listening material. any music coniseuir(spell check?) should give it a listen. A global threat (start a riot music) pogo punk (blanks 77) and straight up hardcore (F-Minus) quite a few more but, you get the idea.

I play the guitar in a band too, the name of the band is Good God AppleCrab, we make a really strange kind of music (sunny/jimmy eat world with converge/poison the well)… its a friend project only, hope to record something and put it in a web and tell you to hear us…
i think to make a logo in zbrush of the AppleCrab, if you guys have an idea please tell me…
