wacom glitches :(

Hi i have a very weird problem with wacom and zbrush here. Whenever (or most of the time) i try to start sculpting i get a mark that is not the size or intensity of the brush i am putting on the model, but then everything works normal until the next stroke. It is quite bothering because then i need to either undo my brush or try to get rid fo that first unrelated brush mark. This happens with my intous 3 6x8 tablet. But when i plug my intous2 tablet this never happens. I am only getting this with intous3 and i have the latest wacom drivers. On the other hand my wacom intous3 behaves quite normal in other applications, no unwanted marks or trails.

you can see the spittings at the beginning of brushes, bigger than the trails

Any ideas?

I have this very same problem with my bottom of the range WACOM Volito2 tablet also, this problem is especially evident when using the layer brush. I get either a small inverted depression, or a small spot on the surface. It’s an absolute pain when you’ve got a nice even section done, only to lift your pen away from the tablet and get this irritating little blob or hole!

Yeah… I’ve got it too. This must be a zbrush bug?

Same here. I bought a Wcom Intuos for ZBrush and ended up not using it because of ‘spitting’. Randomly weird things happen, then I rotate all of a sudden the rotation goes haywire, then when I draw ‘blotches’ appear. It seems as if there are values messed up once in a while. Values are not read correctly from the tablet. It acts like a partially clogged airbrush… PS and Painter have zero problems like that and also work very smooth with that tablet on my PC. Maybe a new set of eacom drivers which do not work well with Wacom?! I don’t have time to investigate so I did not put it into the support section. Which btw would have been the right section to post this in… Let’s see what Aurick says.

ı have the same problem wıth layer brush as well. It is very evident with it/ Also if you keep brush rpessure under 20 it is not that visible. But somehow it works fine with my old intous2 :frowning:

Oops yeah, wrong section, but it was he first post

Lemo, like you, I also get that wild spinning bug (sometimes, not always) when rotating!?

yeah… you shouldn’t use the rotate button with the wacom  …but that’s not really an issue since you can rotate in the canvas. The “spitting” though should be fixed asap if you ask me.

Actually ahmetcan, that looks quite normal to me? The prob I’m having is much worse than that! I should post a pic to show you what I mean.

Look at the Wacom thread in the correct section…
