Hi guys, i’m studying zbrush on a laptop and i have some problem with the tablet:
i can’t explain with word so i will post a image http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/4701/htwd.jpg
when i use the pen i get much less intensity (but the zintensity is the same), i can’t use the pen, even if i put the zintensity at max, how can i solve?
Try ‘Preferences > Tablet’ ‘Z Sensitivity’ slider.
Nope, it was on 0.95 so nothing have changed
are you pressing as hard as possible? The whole point of a tablet is so you can vary your stroke pressure.
you should also check your brush tablet pressure
brush.tablet pressure.z intensity
You are right, if i push i get the same, but i have to push A LOT and i don’t want to.
The z intensity doesn’t change much.
(and i have to wait, push the pen and THEN drag it, it’s impossible in normal use)
change the curve on your Z intensity in your brush settings to decrease the pressure needed.
Are you using windows? Have you turned off all of the crap settings that windows defaults to?
Like visual effects on click? on this laptop no, on my main pc yes.
The curve doesn’t seem to change anything, like that is right? http://img593.imageshack.us/img593/9742/as9j.jpg
move the far left one all the way up. See if that changes anything.
Does the bamboo come with the Wacom tablet properties, software , where you can adjust sensitivity, functions etc, My old intuos 3 , allows to adjust, Not sure about bamboo! If you are just using windows pen flicks , might be the problem.DJ
You should have “wacom preferences” software as i have on my bamboo if not download drivers from wacom webpage and u will be able to adjust pressure as on picture above
I can’t believe, thanks. I had already changed the settings to “firm” but i have to put it to soft!!! Sorry, idiot mistake :).
Thanks to all!
