V-rex scan from KING KONG.

Heya guys, this is my firstish post of my work(I think it’s my first :p) on my portfolio. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now… it’s my favorite creation from any artist anywhere(apart from maybe Predators :p)…the one and only V-REX!
Anyways, I bought the V-rex bust about a year ago in hopes that I would be able to scan it into the computer using a free 3D scanning software(I’ll post the link at the bottom). And while the results were far from perfect, they were not to shabby, and I look forward to scanning more into the computer in the coming months
Enjoy and please leave feedback both negative and positive(but no haters please). I’d love to know what I’m doing wrong/what I’m doing right.

So here it is in the all amazing Zbrush :p, working on getting the basic shape of the scales right and their positioning realistic.

Another quick update of the scales around the eyes, I know they aren’t quite right, I’m not sure if it’s the flesh under the scales or just the scales. Any tips are appreciated.

I know you havn’t posted a lot so the way you posted is understandable, but you just took up three slots in in the two ‘Recent Threads’ rows at the top when there was no need for it. It’s not very fair to everybody else up there, because you just shortened the duration their thumbnails. You could have just edited your first post and put the additional pictures in there. They were the same model after all. Just saying.
