Using iPad Pro/Apple Pencil

I am wondering what is a good way to use the apple pencil and iPad pro 12.9" (first generation) with Zbrush 2020 and a macbook. I tried Sidecar, Duet Display, Duet Display Pro and Astropad Regular. So far I had problems with all of them:

Sidecar: Zbrush interface does not fit on the ipad screen. No way to change resolution in Preferences -> Displays

Duet Display: Can change resolution to fit Zbrush interface. No pressure sensitivity
Duet Display pro: Pressure sensitivity works only in default resolution (but UI doesn’t fit). Shortcuts for zoom, pan, undo etc do not work.

Astropad Regular: Doesn’t seem to have a way to program CMD, Opt, Ctrl buttons as shortcuts, thus no navigation except by clicking the zoom/rotate icons every time.

Anyone using this hardware successfully?

I’m using same set up with same frustrations.

Also, have not had much with zmodeler brush using the apple pencil (1st generation) because there is not a “hover” option. Zbrush typically will crash.

I’m afraid that I am not much help, but very interested if others will post feedback.

I eventually settled on Astropad Regular. I keep my mouse and keyboard nearby for most things, but mirror just the sculpting area on the iPad. Pressure works well, and the price is right.

In case anyone is trying this on a PC, Apparently the Astropad team is working on a version for Windows, but in the meantime there’s EasyCanvas, which apparently works well on a PC with an iPad, provided the PC is relatively fast.

I’ve been using Astropad Studio on with ZBrush 2020 on my iPad Pro 2020 for a week now and it’s awesome. You can arrange the basic key functions on your screen and sculpt is realtime since Astropad Studio is mirroring the Macbook Pro screen while allowing you to use the ipad touch/pressure/pencil features. I made a quick video on youtube below. Feel free to check it out:
