Twice now, I have accidentally created a “3D snapshot” of my model. I may be hitting a bad hotkey combo, I’m not sure. But the extra image is stuck, acts like an alias, even senses the cursor, but does not move, cannot be deleted, or hidden. I cannot undo or backtrack in my timeline. The only way to avoid it is to save the tool and start a new project.
The smaller image is the working, functional model.

Please read the following documentation on Edit Mode. It would be a good idea to read the entire “getting started” section. Ctrl-N will clear the canvas of any pixols that have been dropped to it.
