Thank you Cameyo, this is the best I have gotten so far to date. This is the first time, the very first time, I see a hint of light being cast onto the person … forgive the model, she is a WIP right now, but needed to see how it works with a person.
You can see that she does have orange casted on her cheeks and some on her eye sockets, although it is very light.
Now a few questions (promise only a few, a promise I am hoping I can keep). I did the best render, as you can see below. I just have not yet deleted the second layer with the sphere 3d on it. Because it is not exactly what I am wanting.
One question: There seems to be still sun light, as I can see the rest of her AND the point light on her face (vaguely).
I only want to see the point light on her face. And I want to see more of the point light. So these are two questions. How do I get rid of the “sun light” (the one that makes me see all of her), and how do I make the point light spread darker and more across her face.
My settings for the point light are
Intensity = 2
Ambient = 17
I “placed” the light like you would an eyeball in a model. I did nothing with the numbers in Placement in the light pallette. Is this my problem?
Here is what it looks like without the second layer deleted.
Remember, I just started this model.

I would show you all my settings as you did in your tutorial (which is the best I have seen), but every time I have tried to do that, I hit CTRL and drag it to the screen (the settings), but it never shows up on an exported image (the one you would get here).
Please let me know what I am doing wrong.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! No matter what happens, this is the very first time a point light has casted anything onto a face.
