–latest update–

base mesh in max, I will try to post the ZBrush mesh later. Hair are photoshoped, render in max no other correction done.

very nice model!
as far as the likeness goes I think you captured the top of the face very nicely, but the bottom ( starting under the nose) doesn’t look like him,
what’s funny is that that bottom area looks a lot like brad pitt to me…
the jaw seems especially much too large and is shaped oddly (the bones looks too round), the shape of the mouth is different too.

anyway this is very good overall

nice job, the shader is really well done, the modelis looking good too. i think his pupils are a little too large which is making him look sort of drugged/zombie like. they may be a bit on the bright side too. i think with a little more environment reflections on the eyes they’ll really come to life. without looking at a photo of tom cruise, i’d say his lips seem a little full, but that is off the top of my head.

the likeness is there, a few more little tweaks will really benefit this piece

This looks fantastic, the shading/texturing is amazing as is the modelling. I think a couple of things are slightly off (could be wrong);

For me the main things are that the lower eyelid could be moved up slightly, and curl down the eyebrows. Maybe also drop the chin and move up the lips a bit.

Here is an example of what I mean…

Congrats, to my eyes you made a model that is pretty dead on. I just am not used to see the guy with shade and looking so desperate for a pillow to sleep on, but it’s a look. :+1:

This is excellent, and deserves top row, but my crit is that the lower half of the face is a little wide - see the pic below:

Maybe the chin should be narrower too.

There are a few things that seem a little bit odd, but it’s a decent resemblance. I mean I new it was George Clooney right away. (JK) I would find a range of photos that would give a better understanding of exactly where on the brow the eyebrows are for different expressions. There is also something odd around and between the zygomatic arches, and the jaw line that I can’t put my finger on, and directly under the eye where the cheek meets the nose seems flatter than his, but that could be your texture.

This is very deserving of top row. I agree with the comments made by the seasoned ZB-ers. My only comment would be that the iris color could be darker.

Great stuff though.
