The letter 'C' (hotkey)

Fellow Zbrusher ‘Knacki’ suggested placing this link up here to help anyone else with a hotkey question … so here goes

-----Original question/thread follows:

My apologies, but this is my hour for asking newbie questions …

I was wondering what the letter “C” does for hotkeys? At least I think it was the letter “C” that was typed. The objects in my scene suddenly got darker and I can’t seem to get out of it now. It’s like the voxels are suffering from acute digital depression or something. I thought it was a mask at first, but drag-shifting doesn’t fix it. I can see masks reacting but the image remains dark and brooding.

~Thanks

This is not my finest hour but I laugh anyway

The “C” key copies the collor from where the curosr is.
Just chang it back to white in the collor pallete on the left.

C is the color picker and will select the color under the cursor. Check to see what color is selected and set back to white if necessary.

Change the Title to “Hotkeys?” and place this Link in your first post:

I guess a lot of questions for a lot of people will be answered there, including your “C” question.
I have a printed version here all the time.

Awesome and thanks, the ‘Select Color under cursor’ seems to be it, but what a strange hotkey feature. I suppose it’s great for painting.
