Texture Baking Help Maya - Zbrush workflow.

Hi,

I am working on a character model, I am not so much used to Zbrush Texture baking,

I have a character made in Maya and UV’s have been laid out and then I used “GOz”
option to bring it inside of Zbrush, then I started to increase the subdivision level and
painted the texture in polypaint, Now I want to take out hte texture, here is where I got
stuck, I dont know to bake the polypainted texture to the UV I done in Maya, plz guide me
are a tutorial link will be help full.

This is the same model with polypaint, how do i bake texture to existing UV in Maya from Zbrush? I have used GOz to bring in the mesh from maya.

  1. Tool: Texture Map: (Create) New From Polypaint to convert polypaint to a texture
  2. Tool: Texture Map: Clone Txtr to send the texture to the texture palette
  3. Texture: FlipV to flip the texture vertically
  4. Texture: Export to save the texture to an image file
