Something I’ve been working on the past couple of days. When I’m finished the guy won’t be driving his car naked.
The seam in the neck will be smoothed out when I’m done. The head is just in a separate layer from the body right now.

hey, looking good so far. so he’s not gonna be one of those car-streakers i’ve been hearing about. anyway, it’s looks really good so far, and knowing you, it’ll be really awesome by the time you’re done.
josh
looks like the start of an interesting image…are they going to try to carjack him ? Nice modeling WO…I anxiously await this one
I like this-There’ nothing wrong with driving
na…to much information!
Very Interesting! Right now he looks like a space alien behind the wheel! Like to see where it goes from here.
Excellent modeling! Love the light effects of the dashboard… and and the seat covers! Great job, can’t wait for the finished one!
At least he has both hands on the wheel lol! That look on his face makes me wonder just what is following him?
Very interesting start. I will be looking for the updates.
Here’s the latest update. I started to work on his clothes plus I started to work on the headrests. After doing the clothes, I realized his head was slightly to large for his body, so I cleared the layer his head was one and re-positioned re-sized the head.
The clothes aren’t finished yet though.
Good work WingedOne!! I like more the facial expression of the driver !!!
I like the lighting alot - Bright light from the dashboard - or is he looking at an alien life form?
The light is from the dashboard. I may need to change the lighting coming from behind eventually, depending.
Seems to me most dashboards these days use a red light (so as to not disrupt night vision). When I was a kid they used a pale green light…aaaaaand we liked it!
Here’s the latest update. Added, back window, review mirrow, the sides of the car and a troll doll. The troll doll was built with a multimarker and then the seams were smoothed out with the Glowbrush tool after the troll doll was placed on the canvas.
hey cool
you should put some hair stubal on his face like he’s been up for 3 days with a cig in his mouth and a beer can on the dash and have 2 red light from the back window that look like police light with transparent glass like he’s being pulled over LOL
This is terrific I love the newest update. The lighting is excellent and I like the troll.
awesome image …me so jealous…cant wait to see the final…
Kewl,
I like the amount of detail you put into this already.
You can handle your layers very well. I’m still new to comp based painting and havent adpoted well to the layers techniques yet - though they are essential i’m sometimes puzzled where to put what effect, material etc.
So keep up the good work !
You are doing great! I hope your troll gets a butt crack though lol
I’ve been quietly watching this develope, and having a hell of a good time doing so! Although your work is always excellent, I think I enjoy watching the way you approach the process most of all. You have a unique vision, and I always enjoy the result…!
Here’s the latest update.
Here’s a little short paragraph that’s supposed to accompany the image.
Just as he was leaving the diner late at night along a rural road Boyd was warned by the cook, “Be careful, there are Tail 'Gators out here at night in these here parts.”
“Don’t worry, I can handle tailgaters just fine,” Boyd said as he left the diner.
