Some Farcry 2 characters

Here’s some shots of few characters I did for Far cry2.
They were done a long time ago, in transition with zbrush 2-3.

Marty (the body is a photo), one of the main character, done and rendered in zbrush2…

I think its a photo, just the face is modelled. :wink:

Nice sculpts and great rendering!

Yes, for the hairs, the base is sculpted and textured, but the background is picture, it was made for illustration purpouse, and you can see the blending areas quite easyli.

Regarding the render, it was done in zbrush 2, so I’ve been using a simple material, with a subtle cavity to increase skin pores render and simulate a spec map (reduce cavity specular).

I use mainly 2 lights, one a bit orange, the other one a bit blue. There’s a third lights, using a radial fallof, with a redish tint that gives a light sub surface effect on the outlines.
I painted a different material on the leeps to make them more shiny, and a glossy shader, with a reflection map, for the eyes.
Quite classic!

Seb…I really liked this game had alot of fun on it.These characters are great I really liked them alot…lol id play it thinking mmm dam good characters.I wish i could make em that good :):).
