Set pivot without moving object?

Hi everybody, i’ve been looking for a way to set the pivot without moving the object.
The problem with the Spivot option in transform menu is that it center the object onto the pivot, but what i’d want is to move the pivot only.
I know that you can Spivot then Clear Pivot, but the problem is that if you have multiple subtool and you’d like to adjust some object to others, well you can’t… :frowning:
So is there a way to set pivot to local? or to move only the pivot.

I know that transpose tool can help, but the tip is to use the Deformation options (twist etc…)

Hope someone have the solution. And I hope i’m clear lol.
Thanks for the help guys.

The Set Pivot/Clear Pivot option is a temporary solution for when you want to use the center of the visible portion of the mesh as the basis for rotating, deforming, mirroring, etc.

To permanently change the pivot point of all your subtools you can do this:

  1. Select the top subtool.
  2. Use the Tool>Deformation>Offset slider to change the position in world space. Having the floor and axes visible will help with positioning.
  3. With all subtools visible, press Tool>Deformation>Repeat To Other.
