Sculpting Anatomy in ZBrush (tutorial added pg.3)

[]

Hello! I have created a new tutorial that I have uploaded to YouTube the shows me creating facial anatomy using a base skull from Freedom of Teach and ZSpheres. I used the Clay Tubes Brush and masks for sculpting.

The movie is sped up and there is no audio at this time. This movie builds on the process that I developed in the Sculpting Facial Anatomypost at Sculpt.Paint.Create and highlighted in Scott Spencer’s book ZBrush Character Creation

wow really good.Love the way u use the zsphere too create muslces.Very nice :):).

Very cool! I like this technique more so than the last one you did. I think the muscles look much better as individual geometry than as sculpted. And it seems like its faster too.

Impressive :+1:

Cool technique, Ryan.

Could you please write some steps how you create the separate Zspheres within one subtool and control them to form what you want ?
I tried it, but had no real luck so far.
I always have a lot of problems with zspheres, especially controling them so that the adaptive skin forms the structure that I want.
So I normally avoid them at all.
But your technique looks really nice.

That was my biggest question too. How do you mask off the different parts of the zsphere object, when they are so close to one another and probably intersecting?

Inspirational. Thank you for that!!!

great , very nice work, :+1:

Great video…

Thats another great tutorial…another grt way discovered of creating facial muscles

your tutorials helped me create my sculpts and now its time to go advance and i m thankfull to u for sharing those techniques

OK, I found the way to produce separate Zspheres-constuctions.

Using Alt + LMB on a Zsphere-connection-line in Draw-modus is the key.

iatriki - Thanks!

alexleia - Thanks! Glad you liked it.

DELTATHUND3R - Thanks. I can’t wait to do the whole body this way.

womball- Thanks. unfortunately, its not faster. its actually slower but it helps the learning process i think.

Pedro Toledo -

Rastaman - you found the technique. Just alt click (in draw mode) on the linking spheres to separate two a zsphere chain.

vlad74 - Thanks.

barbarossaX - Thanks.

ivar_sn - Thanks!

VinayKr - Cool. I feel the same way. Always learning more with ZBrush as my medium. I hope the tutorial helped you on your journey.
