Started this little project by following a tutorial (from Danny McGrath) to learn Zmodeler. Nice little tutorial, learn a lot even though my workflow is different. Being a environnement modeler at work, I have not done models like this in years (3 kids you know), so it clearly could be improved, feeling very rusty. Any advice is very welcome.
The goal was to create a hard surface model from scratch in Zbrush. At some point I stopped with the tutorial and got carried away. I modified the model to make it my own and not a simple copy of the tutorial, really like the original design though.
The original concept was done by Darren Bartley aka First Punch. Props to him, great artist. I changed the proportions a bit and added some parts and battle damage. Currently in the process of creating the low rez to texture it in Substance Painter.
