So I’ve decided to start up a sketchbook, so over the next few weeks I’m going to post some sculpts (generally practice ones). The first one is one i did up this afternoon. If you know who it is and want to lay down some C&C feel free! Would be appreciated! This one is from zpheres.
…
If you guys viewing have any feedback, observations or crits I would love to hear them!
You´re sculpts are very impressive, they look great! Surprised im the first to comment! I really like the first head, Edward Norton (?)
Sorry no critique from me, these are way better than what i could do!
Added some things to Hulk… aka a body. Going to make this into a game model. Here’s the sculpt progress so far. C&C welcome!
an HOUR and a HALF?? That’s crazy fast!! (Or is that pretty normal around these parts?) I’m new to ZB and digital sculpting in general, so my sculpting is going wayyy slower. Any tips on how to get faster at it? Just practice? Or do you have a specific technique? …or are you just “that good” lol
Great job on those sculpts btw… very impressive.
@Robb Ryniak To be honest dude, practice. ****ty answer I know haha. But it’s true. I’ll throw up the first head sculpt I ever did just to show i started out the same way. Once you get the feeling of where the major muscle groups lie, and how the mesh into each other
you can pretty much make whatever you want. what some friends and I have been doing, is choosing a concept and going at our take on it in an hour or so. Just a good way to practice. And take a look at other people work as well. Look at mutte696. He has some incredible work
and puts up tons of it. He has a great style and an amazing understanding of anatomy. But practice practice dude. Making full characters is fun, but practicing individual parts of characters is crucial too.
Grate stuff man, I my self need lots of practice practice practice
Not many people live comments usually, keep it up i like what i see
@Moths Thanks dude. Yea practice practice. All this practice and I’ve yet to get a job out of it that I enjoy… Sigh… Back to school maybe…
Another hour and a half Speedsculpt and comp from a concept…
Quick head practice. More brink esque. about 45 mins… meh
Not my best one, but oh well. Speeds are just for fun. 1 hour Speed Sculpt
And a couple more free time sculpts. About an hour or so each…
Nice sculpts!
