You can do this is you are very careful. There are some brushes you should not remove and don’t delete any brushes completely.
- In the ZBrush 4R7\ZBrushes folder create a new folder called Default. Move any brushes to this new folder so that they can be restored if necessary, or you can load them through Lightbox.
- To remove brushes use Windows Explorer or Mac Finder to navigate to the ZBrush 4R7\ZData\BrushPresets. Here you will find all the brush files.
Do not delete brushes that start with Transpose, or any brush that starts with Mask, Clip, Slice, Select, Smooth or Trim. And don’t delete any of the ZSketch brushes, the ZModeler.ZBP or ZRemesherGuides.ZBP.
If you find that ZBrush doesn’t behave as expected, make sure you restore the default brushes.
