So about once a year I run into this red dash on the undo history timeline.
I searched online but couldn’t find any answers. Anyone know why this would happen?

Red Line means you have stored a history point but it is on another subtool. If the stored history point is for the selected subtool then the marker is grey. There is nothing wrong because you can legitimately use a history point from another subtool, for example, projecting details from one subtool onto another one with different tolology. Ah, finally. Ok that makes sense. I also just realized that this seems to happen right after I upgrade from an older version of zbrush. (Hence the reason why I run into this once a year? ) Because I just found several projects that are all doing it too. Go figure.
