Question about modeling an a good butt.

Hi guys

I’m somewhat new to Zbrush and this is my first post on these forums.

I am modeling a female figure but I find that getting the ‘ass’ right is really hard. Please bear with me as I describe the problem…

The problem is getting in-between the cheeks and filling the gap between the too. The move tool is too destructive… and the pinch is not accurate enough.

The cheeks, because they are so close and the one always blocks the other from view means I can’t get to the inner part without it being obscured.
If I isolate one cheek, the work I do on it does not update on the hidden cheek so I’m pretty stumped… Please could anyone share some advice with me? I need to create a good ‘crack’!

inflate and smart resym are your friend here.

Give those two a try and see what comes out of it. Also think about the model from a clay stand point. You have to sculpt that in in real life, the same is true in Z.

You need to move to a higher division level when you start to get problems like this.
