Hi I was just wondering if someone would be able to shed some light on this problem I’m currently having. Having just started I have been working through the tutorials. After completing the Polypaint tutorial successfully I exported from Zbrush and imported into Blender. I am wondering how to fix this problem that can be seen in the images where the object doesn’t texture correctly?
Did you assign UV’s before exporting from ZBrush? If you did, did you use spherical mapping?
I assigned the PUVTiles then created the texture ‘new from polypaint’ and exported as OBJ with texture on in the export settings. it looked fine in Zbrush but when imported into any other program I had it didn’t work. As for spherical mapping I did just try the ‘Uvs’ option for spherical mapping and the same problem. Any ideas? Is there something obvious I may have missed?
looks like you need to flip the texture vertically.
Yes thankyou very much that did the trick. I had seen this advice on another similar thread but hadn’t got it to work but just trying it this morning again after your advice and worked like a charm. Cheers
