Polish brush - not what it used to be?

Hi. I have been a longtime fan of the Polish brush and used it extensively when sculpting.
When upgrading to R3 or R4 (can’t remember which version exactly) the behavior of the brush was significantly changed.

Its hard to explain… but the polish brush just doesn’t work like it used to be. I have tried finding substitute brushes and found the ClayPolish to be similar to the Polish brush.
Nevertheless I liked the Polish brush more, as it was easier to avoid sharp edges and also one could polish closer to sharp surfaces changes, without destroying that also.

My question is this: How do I get my old Polish brush back?

Have you tried ‘PolishOld.ZBP’ in Lightbox > Brush > Polish?

yeah, its not the right one. PolishHard comes close…

The only other one I can think of is TrimDynamic brush.

sPolish? That’s good - changed to sPolish more myself these days.

nah, don’t like the sPolish :slight_smile:

Actually the TrimDynamic is really good with a low strength. Might become my new favorite brush. :+1:
