PM Alpha Modeling Problem

I’v been experimenting with projection master’s alpha modeling ability and I’v run into a bit of a problem.
Sometimes when I “pick up” the object after deforming it in PM the detail becomes allot less noticable, It’s like the depth just isn’t what it should be.
Sorry, this is kinda difficult to explain, maybe the picture will help

It doesn’t seem to matter how many times I devide the base mesh or how much intensity I put on the brush, I’v tried turning off the double sided feature in PM and things like that too.

More info that may or may not matter:
In the image I used a pollymesh cube 3d stretched out a bit, The brush for the holes was single layer brush with the brush 1 alpha I believe.
Subdivision level for the cube was 4.

you need more subdivision to have more dectail.
proiection master is a rappresentation of best result created by pixols, but when PM drop info to displacement map, it need enought poligons to have that kind of dectails, the grid that i see on box is too low subdivided to have the result that you can see on Proiection master, check the number of polygons.
see below picture, i dd a box, i subdivide a lot, then i work with PM and result is good.

Oh that’s how it works.
Thankyou for taking the time to build a diagram and answer my questions in such a clear and comprehendable manner.
