I have been going through much of the posts here, but I cannot see anything as basic as my question: how do I paint and rotate the model so I can paint it on every side?
When i try to pick a brush, it just says: the active tool is in edit/transform mode. Well i press switch and then I never can go back to edit mode again.

I saw the movies there but it seems they have a different UI.
How do I change this? Is that the problem I can’t get to the 3d painting tools?
