Orbiting and zooming issue

My camera view doesn’t orbit around the working area. This also applies to zooming. It looks like the origin of the subtools is not where it supposed to be. Here are two gifs to demonstrate exactly what I am dealing with:

Setting pivot point makes the orbiting and zooming normal, but it moves the subtool in another place.

Hi @dinarotaru

Your subtools are way off centre of the ZBrush world centre. To centre them again, go to “Tool > Deformation” and click “Unify” button. You can then click the Frame button (F) to frame them in the canvas if you can’t find them.

i am making a character from separate subtools. i did what you said and it moved the selected subtool in the center of the world, and it is not supposed to be there.
am i doing something wrong?

If your subtools are far apart, then it will be difficult to work on them. If you are unable to bring them all to world centre and then rearrange them so that they are closer together, then you have a couple of options available. Pressing SPivot (Set Pivot Point) will temporarily move the subtool to world centre so you can work on it. Then pressing CPivot (Clear Pivot Point) will move it back to where it was. You can also use Local Transformation (“Local” button in Transform palette) which will cause rotation to be centred around the last edited point (performing a small stroke).
