Hi I am looking for the simple function “open new scene/project”.
I have already found the function clear canvas CTRL+N but still my old subtools remain…I just want to start a new clean scene/project.
Surely that should be possible? Or do I have to close and reopen Zbrush every time to get a new scene? I haven’t found anything on the internet about this…
I would appreciate your help.

In ZBrush Core, the File> Open function loads Project files. The incoming project will overwrite all the current content in your scene. To reset to the default project, use File> Lightbox Projects> and load the “DefaultProject.zpr”
I find it strange that this obvious function does not exist but ok. Then I’ll make a note of the “Defaultprojekt.ztl”. Many thanks for the quick answer

If you are referring to all the extra tools that build up in the Tool palette, then clicking the “R” button next to the Item Info slider will clear all those out to the default configuration.
