I have a model I’m painting and I often hide things with polygroups.
While working I save perodically like many do incase something goes wrong or I need to go a few steps back.
Normally, this file is 45 to 50 megs. Though, any time I save while I have hidden geometry, like if I control shift clicked on a polygroup to hide all the others, then the tool save becomes a huge 210 megs. Then if I reveal all the geometry, the file size goes back to 50 megs.
Just thought I’d see if anyone knows why the file size changes so dramatically back and forth like that just because I was hiding things? It’s eating up more space than I want for a perodic saves.
