the robots have gotten better and better thru the years,I am makeing new renderings of some of the new ones… this is one of my first for a game that I am giveing up on… DR oddworks was a low poly game I was working on for past 2-4 years… I am releasing all stuff under public domain… and some of it I am selling on turbosquid…
that is one great array of cars…and a very kewl Mech warrior bot, great job!

be sure to make a new account on your computer, log into the account before you run the install.bat…when installer runs awnser YES and then NO… (the insrtuctions it gives are quite simple, I just mentioned it just in case )
make sure you have at least 1 account that has plain old vanilla , windows XP in it…
the reason I say this, is because if for some reason blackbox has problems, you can repair or reinstall from windows account… if you dont have other working account, and you get stuck, you will have to re-install windows to fix it.
One last suggestion, only do black box as a hobbie at first…
Blackbox is somewhat RAW , and takes a little while to set up, and to get used to…
I would estimate that you will be useing it fulltime after 2 or 3 days of tweaking it…
Now I use blackbox full time on all my PC systems…(3)…
Be sure to stop by the IRC chat while you are tweaking it… there are a bunch of little tricks and tweaks to enhance your experiance… plus alot of fun and cool people, there is usualy always someone there, BB4win has a big following…
Hopefuly they get discovered by Symantec or someone who publishsed desktop utilitys…
BB4Win is close to a shiny finished product… with just a couple of small bug fixes it would be ready for prime time 
I would definately pay 30.00$ for it now AS IS… it has helped my productivity 500%…
it has been a few months now that I have not had to play the Microsoft game of juggleing windows from the taskbar, and re-positioning them… I open a window once now, and move on to work, the only other time I deal with window is when I close it… The Virtual desktop will change your life
Be sure to get BBedgeflip, and BBpager plugins… they realy make your virtual desktop experiance a pleasent one…

the plugins with ! in front of them are disabled… the ones with the & in front of them means that that plugin is to run in the BBSlit Quicklaunch tray… there is a program that come with blackbox called BBIcons… Icons can be in the slit or on the desktop, or place them on edge of screen and enable Auto-hide, and they will hide off the side of the screen untill your mouse gets near it the Icons can be 16x16 all the way up to 256x256, they can have lots of other propertys to them also… Like transparent, always ontop and Autohide…
another word of advice… Install BBWinskin very last, after you have everything else working the way you want…
BBWinskin is Evil… I screws with 99% of the programs I use…
the programs that BBWinskin has problems with should be listed in the Exclude.rc file (you manualy type them in, just simple program name like wings3D.exe… that is all you have to type for it to exclude)…
Be sure to play with all other plugins first… BBwinskin can be quite time consumeing… I have it running properly now and it looks VERRY NICE . Everytime I log on to BB4Win I realy feel proud, and In control of my system…
BTW the shell skins are called Styles, you can get all 640 known styles from here: http://box.crackmonkey.us/
the file is under with all 640 styles is just 1 meg!!! the styles are just small math formulas in text files to make the gradiants, and are Microscopic as far as the filesize
Perhaps I make a quick install guied… I realy like BB4Win and would love to see the following get bigger
in my tests, BB4Win is 100% compatible with Zbrush2… I have not had to tweak anything to get Zbrush running, even with BBwinskin… Zbrush is quite powerfull, and will not allow ANY shell to draw borders on the window… Just make a shortcut, and point you menu or BBicon at the shortcut… Never point the menu/icon at EXE or COM file… always make a shortcut first…and point at shortcut…
well anyway, check out the IRC, I will probably be there all day today… Start out with BB4Win… the otehr Spin off shells dont have as many plugins, and are not as tried and tested as BB4Win.
BB4Win is the funnest Hobbie I have ever had… it is also the most productive thing I have ever done to my windows system…Everything on my computer is under my right mouse button
