hello i am having a problem with my normal map when its exported to crazy bump. I really hope someone can help me with this!! basically what happens is i bring my model into zmapper, make a normal map and export the map along with a obj version of the model. then i open crazy bump and load the map and the model. when i view it the model’s maps are all flipped around and weird looking. i think it has to do with the tangents because in crazy bump the model’s normal map looks similar to the tangents seams in zmapper. if anyone has any clue what im talking about and has a fix id really appreciate it a lot! im also posting some pics that would explain the situation better. please help!!!
Try flipping the normal maps vertically in ZBrush before exporting.
I have the same problem, do you mean the “flip image vertically” in Zmapper?
Ohh, now its working, thanks (and sorry)
