I’ve had this problem since I picked up Zbrush. My tablet sensitivity works totally fine with Zbrush’s brush size, alphas and Z depth, but for about 10-30 seconds after saving my ZPR file, Zbrush acts like I’m drawing with a mouse–the brush follows my pen position as normal, but the stroke size and Z depth are applied as if pressing with maximum pressure. This behavior is present no matter what drawing tool I use, and after the 10-30 seconds all of a sudden the pressure sensitivity is back to normal. The program doesn’t slow down during this time; the camera and brush strokes update just as fast as they always do, even with higher poly meshes, it’s just the pressure sensitivity that seems to stop working. It’s common for software to hang while it writes a file to the disk, but I haven’t seen this sort of functionality loss persist so long after the save actually finishes. Does Zbrush do this normally, or is there a performance option I can set to prevent this from happening?
