New to Zbrush, can someone help me out with my problem?

Hey there guys! My name is Robin and I just started out Zbrush 2 days ago. After a few video tutorials, i managed to get myself to start sculpting a head. Everything was great until I started carving the mouth. There appears to be some sort of a tight pull in the middle, and whenever i tried to smoothen it with the smooth brush, the lips will split. Same goes with the back of the head. Please do help me out! I’ve attached pictures to this post so that you can identify my problem. Oh, if there’s any comment that you’d like to make on my model, do tell me so that I can broaden my sculpting knowledge. Thanks!

I’ve also attached the pictures so that you can download it to have a better view.

I am assuming you’re working on a sphere. The errors on the front and back are the poles of the mesh (turn on polyFrame to see) (Shift+F).

You can fix this by making your mesh a dynamesh to average out your polyflow. You can find dynamesh at tool.geometry.dynamesh
There are videos on the zClassroom that cover how to use dynamesh, it is also covered inside of the documentation for Z4r2 I believe, might be r4

Thanks a bunch! I’ll try it out as soon as possible. Besides dynamesh, are there anymore alternatives?

unified mesh
adaptive skin
qRemesher
retopology

all possible options

Thank you so much for helping me out!
