Hey,
Is there a way to delete faces from an already finished sculpt without losing surface detail?
The way i tried was as follows…
- goto lowest subdiv level and mask off the part i want to delete.
- convert mask to polygroup.
- hide the poly group > delete hidden.
I then get a message saying that the model is being sub divided.
when i do this and then go back up to the highest sub division, it’s like the whole model has been smoothed out.
is there another way to do this?
or should I be more mindful and delete these faces before I finish the sculpt?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
