My First ever project (android head)

Well this is my first ever project I have never used a 3d program before(zbrush is my first) and I only have one week using zbrush ,this is my first project i know it not like the majority of projects here wich are really really cool but i post this so I u people can tell me advices on what i should work on,etc

This is a head of an android (or something) I sculped it using a polysphere for the head and two for the eyes

I am only able to subdivide to level six (I only have 256 of RAM)

I would say that, after just 1 week of ZB, an excellent start. Especially with only 256 MB of RAM (as someone using 516 I know the difficulty). My main crit is that the ear could use a little work. Keep it up.

Hi Dante! Well done for the first go, you have a fun road ahead of you. :cool:
I would make the eyes a bit larger. On your next headmodel, try to get some eyelids in there; you can’t learn that soon enough.
(don’t know what your financial situation is, but RAM is very cheap at the moment, and although it’s not a must-have, it can really help!)

I don’t know, but I would go for the RAM first, and then for the tablet (the RAM helps your computer with other programs too). My tablet is a very cheap one from Trust. Probably totaly inferior to other brands, but it serves my needs well. Too bad computer hobbies are so expensive eh? :confused:

Hi dante_3_16 nice to see another recruit to the Zbrush family. Your first piece is pretty decent considering how long you’ve been using the app for. He’d look good in Res Evil game. you need to check your computer to see if it can accept a gig a ram as its only got 256 it may not go any higher than a gig. Good luck & keep going. :+1:

Off to a good start.

The main problem I see with this one is the anatomy. The bones and muscles are not blelievable yet. Just keep hacking at it while keeping a close eye on anatomy reference and real people, use a mirror even.

and how do I check how many RAM my pc can hold?

check your computer model and look up it’s information one the internet.

well i found on a page that the maximum is 3 GB perfect!!!
