Hello all,

Also, I started modeling Thanos (my favorite Marvel Character) in traditional clay first, then I will make a CG version derived from it as an exercise…plz excuse the crappy photos…using an itouch for photography just doesn’t cut it…
I like the style, especially the first picture.
This was just a 2 hr. practice sketch from last night (the ear is pretty wonky)…I always have trouble with eyelids, either open or closed. How do you guys tackle eyes? So far the best method I have used is starting w/ the eye stamp brush and refining, but I would like to try other methods.
Just a quick update/follow through on a sketch. Trying to learn the best method for wrinkles (just a strat of the wrinkle pass). So far a modified pinch bush works best…any crits welcome.
Oh BTW. Thanks to Ralpf Stumpf for shoing this render technique and matcap! absolutley beatutiful work!

Quick update…messing around and trying to learn the SSS bpr render.
tonight’s quick sketch.

This is a WIP modeling from my clay maquette…still a long way to go!
Very Cool Work!!!
I got really bored one day…actally was a good exercise. Avacados turn brown pretty quickly.
Lightly brush or drizzle with lime juice and use cellophane as second skin. Wrap then store. Awesome little sculpt man!
tasty face
Had some free time the past 2-3 days and started this. My version of a Tiefling.
Not sure where to take this guy yet…Since the topoly is anim. friendly I might use this guy to try out the blendshapes plug-in.
crit welcome
