Multiple shader material from scratch

Hi all.

I was looking around everywhere but still couldnt find desired answer. So basically I would like to know how to make material with multiple shader in zbrush from scratch. I have some materials wich have multiple shaders already but when I try to modify standard material with only one shader nothing is working:cry:

To narrow my question:

There are multiple shader slots called S1,S2,S3 in zbrush material palette. How I can activate them on standard materials? I tried to copy paste different materials into one but I cant paste it in the new shader slot.

I hope my question is not too complicated and I hope to get an answer . Thank you all for your input !

I guess you could start with QuadShaders material, and fill slots using buttons “CopySH” and “PastSH” ( Modifiers in Material pallet).

Thank you very much! Just realized that there are these basic double, tri and quad shader materials. I thought it was possible to activate the shader channels on all materials but now I see how it is working!

Have you figured how to manage this? Let us know here at http://www.zbrushcentral.com

well you just simply do what eof3D said. There are primade basic materials with shader slots. Use them to make complex materials like skin.
