Goddess Durga fighting and killing the Buffalo Demon/Mahisasura (also known as the Mahisasurmardini). This form of Devi Durga accompanied by Goddess Laxmi and Saraswati (The other forms of the Goddess/ often adopted as her daughters) and Lord Ganesha and Karthik - two sons of Durga, is worshipped in the Eastern part of India, West Bengal annually during autumn. For that purpose, artisans create the idols with clay, paints and decorations.
I tried to replicate one such idol (reference from different idols and one beautiful replica that I have in my collection form an unknown artist and various other sources). Entire modelling and sculpting were done in ZBrush except for the items of clothing for which I have used Marvelous Designer. I will come up with a painted version soon.
