Loosing pen pressure?

Hey all!
I just finished installing R2 and completely loving dynamesh! I have been running into one issue that I cant figure out why its happening. I keep loosing pen pressure. Ive been trying to replicate the problem but I cant figure out exactly what Im doing. It seems to happen when switching brushes, undoing an operation, using the draw size/focal shift widget or the brush panel. Ill have normal pen pressure then it goes to max, as though Im using a mouse.
The only way Ive been able to get pen pressure back is to restart Zbrush.

Not too sure if its needed, but heres some of my specs:
running x64
wacom intous 3
8 gig of ram

I am having this problem as well. Every time I save my Ztool, I lose all pressure sensitivity and using my pen is like using a mouse.

I wonder why this issue hasn’t been discussed more. I’ve heard more artist say the same. It’s not a specific task that I do that will make this bug appear. I could be saving a tool, loading a texture, initializing spotlight, etc. It doesn’t matter (like right now I had to restart zbrush again). Just all of a sudden I lose my pressure and sensitivity on my wacom tablet and I have to restart zbrush to fix it. My specs are the following ones: windows 7 x64, wacom intuos 4 model ptk-640, 8GB of ram on quad core HP. I hope more people talk about this problem so as a collective voice we can make this problem go all the way to Pixologic so they can look into it. Thanks.

Yes, me too. I havent run into the problem in a little while so I’m hoping the latest ZB update fixed that. When I loose pen pressure, the mouse also lags behind when clicking. If I hold the pen tip down, a little mouse-clicking icon appears. I think Window’s wintab service, with its ‘press and hold’ command, is over-stepping the wacom drivers or forcing them to drop out. Sometimes restarting Zbrush fixes the problem, sometimes I need to restart the computer. Occasionally this will happen if I forget to plug my tablet in before launching Zbrush, but not always. Very odd.
I’ve made sure wintab was disabled in services but there doesnt seem to be a way to disable the press and hold setting on Win XP.
Its not completely preventing me from working, but its definitely an annoyance at times. Hopefully theres a solution somewhere.

Same whenever I save my file (ZPR) my tablet loses sensitivity. I have to minimize, then restore ZBrush window to regain sensitivity.

This is definitely a bit of a slow down to do this every time I save.

This happens both at home and at work (two different computers) one with a wacom 4 medium size, aat home a wacom 5 large size. Same problem.
