Lazy Mouse Question?

I am attempting to create my first figure from a ZSphere base I created from watching some videos & tutorials.

I’m just starting out, so don’t mind my guy not having any legs lol… thought I would begin with the upper body and take it from there.

I am ready to finally sculpt… however, with lazy mouse highlighted it is still not active, it is but not at it’s default. The two targets or whatever you call those mouse points are far apart? Shouldn’t they be close together. I took a snapshot of my current settings. I am sure it is something simple or an easy step I over looked or don’t understand. I want to start sculpting the body and would make sense to have lazy mouse on so it is evenly proportioned?

Thanks in advance!

What you’re asking is a little confusing. You do understand what Lazy Mouse is used for? Lazy Mouse is like a virtual string that pulls the stroke behind your cursor position so as to make more flowing curves possible. Increase the ‘LazyRadius’ to about 75 and draw a stroke and you will see what I mean. I notice that you also have Symmetry on and your saying something about “two targets” and this is the confusing part. Can you elaborate a bit more on what you are trying to achieve? Do you want Symmetry or Lazy Mouse?

I actually figured it out. I didn’t have the X Symmetry activated. I’ve been practicing first, before I get into the real designing of my own models. I just finished learning the basics of navigation and understanding the tool pallets and what each thing does. I jumped the gun on this one, and not too far after posting this I managed to figure out what step I missed to do. I’m starting to learn the hot keys too. The hot keys really help with shortcuts. I learn pretty fast, so I thought I could jump right into things. Especially after dabbling in Poser I thought I would catch on quick. But ZBrush is pretty powerful and robust. I love its flexibility though.

Thank you for having patience with a newbie!
