EDIT

The render is good, but here are things that need fixing:

  • The ears need holes for the earings to go through
  • Eyelashes need thinning at the ends. They are currently the same thickness all the way through.
  • The Ear needs anatomy work
  • triple the amount of hairs
  • The eyes need anatomy work
  • The eyes also need a reflection (best doing this by creating a simple room with actual lights)
  • Teeth need more specularity
I love the lips though, you got them spot on photorealistic. But if you fix these things, it would so much better.

Nice work and a nice render, but I do agree with the crits stated above.
especially the ear structure that just looks wrong to me.

Having said that, with a few minor tweaks this piece could be truly excellent.
Good Job :D:+1:

Thank you for the comments, I basically agree on everything, the eyelashes actually become thinner and at the very end they enlarges again, I did that to try to simulate the dirty of the mascara, but obviously it didn’t work out very well… The eyes actually have a reflection, the round white dot you see in the pupil is a circular panel in the scene, but maybe I should have thought to something more complex…
I use this image as reference for the pose btw…

Great job man, keep at it, try to match it to the original image more and more, dont give up yet =)

Yep, I don’t give up, tomorrow I will do the fixes that u3190 suggested! Stay tuned for the update!

WOW!
Rikk ma sei troppo il piu’ megopower! E anche il piu’ ganzino (in 'sta pista)! It’s a very good work indeed, despite i can’t see the final image because you temporarily removed it. U3190 gave you already some very good advices on how to improve the anatomy of the face, i’ll add two more things: the cheek bones are too prominent, too wide and too low, you can spot it easily from the back light pass. Also the bottom of the forehead where the brows are, it’s a bit strange.
Eyes and lips are the most important part of the face, and they’ll make all the difference, so it’s worth to spend time making them look right. The lips seem to be very good already, I like the wetness feel you achieved!
About the eyes, you may want to work a bit on the shape of them, here’s a LINK with some boring technical aspect of asian eye.

Another little advice I can give you is: don’t try to achieve everything just with the render, but use your super skills in Photoshop to enhance, correct and improve your render and make it look the way you want.

Keep up! The good basis are there, you just need to practice!

Ok, I’ve updated the image with all the tweaks and suggestions I heard:

  • added tons of hair
  • remodeled completely the ears
  • improved the eyes anatomy
  • added reflections to the eyes
  • made the eyelashes thinner at the tips
  • added more specularity to the teeth
  • general re-proportioned the face
  • improved the gold material of the earrings

(special thanks to U3190 and eklettica)

I really hope you like it now, because my time to dedicate on this is expired…

Very nicely done Rikk , wish you had more time to work on it but approved

Ale

Very well done! I hope to see more of your works around. Complimenti!

Bella Rikk! Complimenti! Now that you got the skills you can start with another one!

Thank you for the comments!
Ganjica, I remember you were working on a hyper-detailed CG woman, but I never saw it complete, did you finish it?

bwaaaaa nobody else commented this thread, I’m so sad…

Ahah! Well, I finally did finish it, long time ago, and it came up pretty average after all the effort  I’m not that proud of that work, it’s on my website anyway.
