- Kristin Kreuk - V.1

Hi! I want to share with you my last work. She’s Kristin Kreuk and it’s a Mixed work. I have used Maya where i started to shape the base of her head. Then In Zbrush Where i have done the hard work of sculpting from a front reference photo. Rendered in Zbrush with my skin shader. Mesh 1.406.978 polygons. Textures from reference.
At least for complete my work i used CS2 where i merged the hair of my reference photo in my picture. Painted over the hairs. [I Wish Zbrush FUR/HAIR! :frowning: ] The eyelashes are painted for to give more real life to the character. Color correction, light balance and a little of grain blur always in CS2.
Still alot of work is waiting me for fix the mouth, the eyes and the ears. This is a work for practice with zbrush. And i want to try to make some hairstyle in maya. So i hope you find this picture interesting . Feel free To comment. Have a great day.

Thank you! i’ll answer tomorrow at your question!

She’s looking excellent, EmiY - lovely modeling & subtle texturing, well done :+1:

Do you have a low-res Maya mesh to show?

are going to make a Tutorial Zcript. On how to do this. She is amazing.

Have a blessed day.

That is a pretty sweet image. Nice use of tools.

Hi EmiY, Beautifully done! I’ve been going back and forth with the reference picture and the eyes seem maybe a touch small, not sure. They ‘pop’ more in the photo. Maybe it’s the more obvious eyelashes. Awesome stuff, though and better than I could ever approach. A critique in admiration. :+1: :+1: 50.

this isn’t bad but she seems distorted. Her head seems pretty wide, and the hair line is weird, cone shaped

Yes; thinking about 50’sKID’s remark on her eyes, they do appear a little narrow on the outer corners in relation to her head, and although the mascara’s deceptive,
looking at the fold of her eyelids, her upper outer lids look as though they could do with broadening height-wise (upward); but minor points in a wonderful model

Raaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!

My faaaaaaavorite actress…

Wow!!!:+1:

Her eyes are both looking slightly different places. And she is a bit coneheaded. I love the skin, ears, and mouth though.

Very nice, Emily. All I can critique is maybe square off the widow’s peak a little more so the hair wraps around the head versus the triangular peak I see.

Look forward to your updates…

The specularity is a bit high on her. She look like she is sweating.

My sister actually has a hairline just like that :p. I agree about it being a bit too wide. Still it’s great work, keep at it! :+1:

EmiY,

This is very nice!:+1: :+1:

You did a great job on this face, especially on the hair. Any chance to get pictures of a step by step of your work ?

only one thing to say… OH MY F***ING GOD! this is crazy TOP ROW!!!

Hi,

very very good similarity. Have you used facegen? The texture and the model look very similar to face gen topology.

THAT IS GREAT WORK, BUT Her eyes need more eye liner like Cleopatra. she always tries to look like Cleopatra. Like to see where this goes if this is still a WIP

Thank you for all your comments i really appreciated! I’ll answer at the few question now…

Atwooki Here’s the Wireframe from Maya.

For this model i haven’t used the zscript recorder. But could be possible to do a tutorial the next time. Just i haven’t too much time because of my job.
About eyes and head coneshaped i’m going to fix that. I know that her head is a bit wide but i’m going to fix it.
Eyes are retouched and you see that is not like the model in zbrush because of eyelashes painted over. Again stll alot of work for fix many things.
This is because i need to make a Girl kinda Kristin Kreuk for my job. She don’t have to be like her but kinda. So i’m working for first on it.
I’ll post new screen when will be possible for me.
Yes i have used also facegen for to have the rough mesh and the textures. Imported on maya for to clean some parts (not all) and make the base mesh with the reference. I zbrush i have used the textures for her head and painted more particulars. Textures of Facegen are not so good but they give an idea.
Eyes are textured at all with the reference image.
Thank you again for all… have a great day. Bye
