Happy Saturday everyone. Nothing special here, just a slice of cheeze. I have an idea for a picture but am not sure if I’ll do it in Zbrush, as a drawing, or as a Super Sculpey Sculpture. Gotta think it over and play around abit. I made the cheeze from an alpha-3D. 50.

Hi animuts, I here Wisconsin has the best. I need to redo this alpha so it has a rounded backside. I have a couple ideas on the scene subject. The great thing about Zbrush is there is no expense. No materials to buy, but I do enjoy hands-on artwork.

Have you ever tried greenstuff?
Hi billrobertson42, no I haven’t heard of ‘Greenstuff’, is it a polymer clay? I’m always looking for new materials. 50.
Greenstuff (kneadatite) is a two part expoxy that you mix together. There’s a blue and a yellow half. Mix them together, they turn green. And then you’ve got some working time before it cures. It takes detail really well. It’s used a lot in making miniatures.

edit one quick note, greenstuff is quite similar to plumber’s epoxy and other similar epoxies with one important difference. greenstuff is non-toxic whereas the others arent.

Hi Pilou, I got up early to work on this. It is a very cartoony cheeze yellow. I plan to orange it up a bit and try to get a cheezy looking material, not easy. Well, back to work. 50.
I have heard of the POD people…I get a different take on this…Invasion of the Body Cheezers or Invasion of the Cheese Snatchers… 
A good hunk of cheese like yours and some good crackers and a nice mustard sound good right about now as a middle of the night snack …major droolies…

Hi, Ron. No aliens in this one, sorry. I did make alot of progress this morning. I have the scene all laid out. A little more modeling to do and play with light settings. I was going to give a little sneek peek, but I think I’ll make ya wait.

There, I finished it. I went through several concept ideas, this was the easiest as I didn’t want to spend alot of time modeling a mouse,…I cheated. I did a quick How-to on doing the hole I thought might be usefull to New Zbrushers. I could have done the whole wall with the hole from one alpha, but I tend to get smooth edges and I wanted a sharper cut out effect. Anyway, here it is, I hope you like it. 50.

hahaha good thing that cheese is holey, me thinks after his is done gorging he wont be able to get out to breathe!! I kinda feel that way about Wisconsin cheese curds…put a bowl in front of me and I can’t stop eating til I explode!!
