Hi

Thought I would start posting a few things on here

first up a Whale I did last year Zbrush and XSI… 3 hours from start to finish

quick polymesh in XSI

and comped in the FX tree

Hi,
I like the whale, both sculpting and color, but I’d suggest two things:

  1. make the eye more black to have a good white highlight in order to catch more attention
  2. The upper part of mouth seems sharper than bottom part
    For the head, I like texture and tattoo, but there are no eyelashes.
    Maybe the skull should be a little wide on the rear part.
    Good job, anyway.

good point about the whale

will give the guy eyelashes…and will look at his skull as well, but
I don’t want him to look too perfect in his proportions … people really do have wierd shaped heads…

Well, you’re right: it’s still a bit out of proportion, but I’m sure someone with that head exists! :wink:

Awesome.
I like your creatures, maybe the last has no much room for eyes, so I prefer the first three concepts, but they are awesome.
Good sculpting.

Love the sketches, only head I dislike is the bottom left.
Also I’m not so keen on the stumpy legs. His top makes him look like a agile dynamic creature. I think he’d be more suited raptor like legs… but that’ may take away from the uniqueness…
