Jobs for artists without credentials

I am a fledgling artist. I sketch and doodle often, and I think I’m doing fairly well. My question is this:

Are there any jobs out there where I could use my artistic skills, without providing any credentials (College degree, much of a portfolio, etc)?

I’m not looking for a career, or even a major job. I’m really interested in “getting out there” and learning. This is probably a pipe dream, but if anyone has any ideas or leads, please share.

hmmm, from all I’ve seen maybe you could/should try to add your skills to those of that ppl that are building games. Not them big ones, but them hobbyists that are looking for all kind of talented ppl, from programmer to illustrators. There are many of them, and in almost any genre of games. Some of them are looking for 2D-artists, some need 3D, some both.
