Is the Zbrush KeyShot bridge license possible with KeyShot 11?

Hello Maxon,

me and your customers own a Zbrush/bridge license for Keyshot 10 (Pro), can I download and use KeyShot 11 with my license, or do I have to buy a new license for KeyShot 11 and if so at what price, or is the bridge worthless and we don’t even know if the bridge will continue to exist at all?

KeyShot 11 is released and we cannot use KeyShot 11 !

The Maxon Support support answered as follows:
You can contact Pixologic direct for pricing options to upgrade your bridge license KeyShot 11. Once you have done this my team can get the license set up for you.

KeyShot and the Bridge are separate products.

The Bridge is not going away. It also does not need updating. It will work with any KeyShot for ZBrush version and will also work with any KeyShot HD or KeyShot Pro version from Luxion.

But to use KeyShot 11 you must upgrade your KeyShot license.

If you have KeyShot for ZBrush you can upgrade through the My Licenses page. See KeyShot Upgrades (KS 11 Now Available) - ZBrush (pixologic.com)

If you have KeyShot Pro directly from Luxion you will need to contact them for pricing.

With KeyShot 11, Luxion has eliminated KeyShot HD and introduced KeyShot Personal Edition (PE). That version of KeyShot does not support live linking and therefore will not work with the Bridge. So Maxon only sells KeyShot Pro for ZBrush and no longer sells KeyShot HD for ZBrush.

Bought and updated, everything worked immediately without any problems, as a tip to everyone, if you leave KeyShot 10 Pro on the PC, all folders, works and licenses will be automatically transferred and migrated to Keyshot 11. :grinning:

I also own keyshot 10 pro and just installed Zbrush 2025 (upgraded from zb 2022). But zb2025 is “unable to connect to external renderer.”

Is there a setting or license issue? Or is this a support ticket item.

hi,
its a license issue you must contact the Keyshot customer support,
if I see it correctly you must update your license to 2025.

I submitted a Keyshot ticket and they referred me to Pixologic/Maxon.

Based on Keyshot’s response and other reading, I believe that an upgrade to Keyshot 11 pro ($99/mo subscription only now) is now required to use Keyshot with current Zbrush.
